Husayn al-Awaayishah

Husayn al-Awaayishah

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Husayn bin ‘Awdah Al-‘Awaayishah is one of the well-known students of knowledge from Jordan who has benefited a great deal from the late Imam Al-Albaanee. He has authored dozens of books many of which have been translated into English.

Governing Yourself And Your Family

Shaykh Husayn al- Awayishah
The subject matter of this work has preoccupied and continues to preoccupy the minds of our nation's members; yet in spite of this preoccupation, many people lack a correct understanding regarding it. Because the issues that fall under the subject matter of this work are so important, I decided to write this work, through which I hope to make plain the way to live and act according to what Allah has revealed. Contrary to what some may think, this work is relevant not just to leaders, but to every individual as well. Each and every human being is a leader and chief of sorts, for just as a ruler is responsible for the welfare of his state and citizens, each one of us is responsible for his flock -- the members of his family and, more importantly, his own self…

The Grave - Punishments and Blessings

By Husayn al-Awayishah. Question abound about what happens after death. In western societies, in particular, there is a great deal of speculation on these matters. Mulsims, however, have answers to these quetions. Islam tells us what we can expect when we have finally made our exit from this world; we are also given ample guidance as to how we may best prepare ourselves and earn the rewards of Paradise in the Hereafter. In this book the author outlines the Islamic teaching on death and the grave. It is an essential reading for any Muslim who wants to know more about the topic from the authentic sources of Islam.

The Calamity of the Prophet's Death

Shaykh Husayn al- Awayishah
The Calamity of the Prophet's Death and its Effects on the Muslim Nation The Prophet (SAW) said, 'If one of you is afflicted with a calamity, then let him remember his calamity by me (i.e., by my death); for indeed, it is the greatest of calamities.' It becomes clear to us from this hadith that the death of th Prophet (SAW) is the greatest disaster that has occured or will occur to the Muslim nation. The Messenger of Allah requests that when we remember our calamities or afflictions, we should remember his death and his parting as well, a reflective process through which our other disasters will become insignificant in comparison. Whenever we lost any of our relatives or loved-ones, we are sure to have felt the pain of parting from them ant the anxiety of the farewell. The question now is this: Have we had any such feelings or sentiments when we contemplate the death of the Prophet (SAW) ?

The Farewell Advice of The Prophet

Shaykh Husayn al-Awayishah
In recent times, many sincere Muslims have looked to ascertain the situation of our Nation, and what they see were the effects of the Devil (Shaytan), the blackness of wicked deeds, and the blood of many wounds. They saw discord, disagreement, disunity, confusion, and anxiety. They perceived the evil results of not ruling according to Allah's Book - in the home, the streets, or the marketplace. They saw these results in schools, universities, books, newspapers, and the media; in fact, they even witnessed them in the best places, mosques, where innovations now flourish. And they have also seen the effects of that evil among the ranks of callers to Islam and students of knowledge.

Weeping From The Fear Of Allah

Shaykh Husayn Al Awaayishah
English Translation of al-Bukâ'u min Khashyatillâh Shaykh Husayn al-'Awâyishah publish by Al-Hidaayah UK. A guide and encouragement to soften our hearts and moisten our eyes through the rememberence of Allâh. This is a moving book, which has been presented at a time when crying is considered a weakness rather than a virtue - and this has lead to the hardness of hearts. The author refers to the verses of the Qur'an, sayings of the Prophet (saw) examples of the Companions and reports from the pious predecessors. We pray that the heart rendering narrations that have been carefully chosen will act as a means of softening our hearts Insha-Allah.

Adorning Knowledge with Actions

Shaykh Husayn al-Awaayishah. I felt that I should hurry in bringing forward the hadeeth: "The two feet of the son of Aadam will not move from near his Lord on the Day of Judgement until he is asked about five (matters): about his life - how he spent it; about his youth - how he took care of it; about his wealth - how he earned it; and where he spent it; and about that which he acted upon from the knowledge that he acquired," as an aid towards purification of the souls and preparation for death. The advice being firstly to myself, secondly to the du'aat (callers to Allah's path) and thirdly to all my Muslim brothers in every part of the world - hoping that Allah, the Most High, will cause benefit through that which I have written and that the fruits of that may be reaped, now and in the future. In this treatise I restricted myself to one part of the hadeeth and that is "?and about that which he acted upon from the knowledge that he gained." From the Author's Introduction

Backbiting and Its Adverse Effects

'Ghibah is not an easy term to translate- there is no single equivalent word in English, although it may be loosely covered by the term Backbiting (Ghibah) also includes Gossip, slandering, scandal-mongering, etc. Whichever word we chose, we cannot escape from the fact that Ghibah affects us all. We have all been victims and - we must be honest - we have all been guilty of this sin. But it is not a matter to be taken lightly - Backbiting can wreck lives and shatter communities. If we seek to unite as Muslims, we must combat Ghibah. Islam is a practical faith which recognizes the human conditions and offers achievable remedies to the problems that beset us. Every human society faces the problem of gossip, and Islam shows us how to tackle it in a sensible and humane manner. [At-Tirmidhi]
